Master-Pack Group Berhad previously known as Hunza Consolidation Berhad was incorporated in 1994 and was converted to a public company in 1996. In 1997, the Company was successfully listed in the second board in the Malaysian Stock Market and was traded under the code of “7029 HUNZA”.

In the year 2004, a significant acquisition of share by Yayasan Bumiputra Pulau Pinang led to a change in the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dato’ Syed Mohamad bin Syed Murtaza (Dato’ Syed).

The Company then underwent a strategic change under the leadership of the Chairman Dato’ Syed. The Company changed its name from Hunza Consolidation Berhad to Master-Pack Group Berhad in June 2009. Simultaneously the trading name changed to “7029 MASTER” in the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia.

The principal activities of the Company are investment holdings and the provision of management services. Today Master-Pack Group companies core activities are in the industry of corrugated paper packaging. The Board and the management practice an open policy to seek other potential business ventures which will be profitable to the Group.
